I create by extracting fragments from the world around me—natural forms, artificial objects, and everything in between.
During the process, I revisit the emotions, memories, and lasting impressions that people and experiences have left within me.
Beyond the act of faithfully translating shapes into three-dimensional form, I seek to offer another way of seeing— a perspective that arises from expressing the “real” through inorganic materials.
The “forest” I have come to know has moved me deeply; its embrace is vastly different from what I once understood.
The plants I observe closely are not limited to those native to Japan. In recent years, a diversity of species—vivid in color and dynamic in form—has emerged, revealing new expressions of life.
There is a bold, vital beauty in these vigorous plants, yet in contrast, the quiet presence of many wildflowers and grasses stands serenely within stillness.
Within the great bosom of the forest, even as the tides of climate change flow, I feel a responsibility to observe closely the cycles of life and the coexistence of diverse living things.
I have spent long hours immersed within the axis of nature itself, turning inward in deep contemplation.
Large plants, tiny wildflowers, climbing vines—
I strive to approach the essence of botanical beauty, and invite you to experience the landscape where the forest and my work intertwine.

自然物・人工物など身近にあるものを切り取り
制作時、いつも人に与える影響や思い出、強い記憶を掘り起こしていき、製作をしています。
忠実に立体に起こしていく作業の向こう側に
無機質な素材での表現が、本物を観ることとはまた異なる視点を与えたいと考えています。
私の知る"森"の懐は、
それまでとは大きく違うことに心動かされました。
ごく身近に咲く植物の対象は
国内に自生する植物だけでは無く、
近年 多様な性質を魅せ...
色も形も躍動的な植物が姿を表します。
その潔い躍動性の在る植物の"美しさ"がある
一方で
静という中に佇む
多くの山野草たちの姿とが
対比するように存在するのです。
森の大きな懐には
温暖化の流れに伴いながらも
巡る命の連なりや、
生物多様との共生について
注視していかなければならない責務を
感じているのです...。
多くの時間を
自然という軸のなかに身を委ね
その中で、潜心しました。
大きな植物...
小さな山野草...
蔓物...
植物美の基軸に迫り
森と混ざり合う景色を体感ください。
